| I moved $500 - so if you have $1,000 I think you should be fine.

| Terri - Someone posted about this on llnoe.com today, and now I'm thinking about it. I have some questions though... 1. Did you sign up online? 2. Is it attached to your checking account? 3. If so, do you just move (transfer) it over to your ING account? 4. Likewise, can you transfer it back should you need the money? 5. How fast can you have your hands on it should you need it? The ING accounts have a lot higher interest than my reg. savings account, but I've never moved it since I can just transfer from account to account instantly now. If I could do that with ING, I'm definitely switching!!! TIA!

I signed up online You have to link your savings account to a checking account (I actually have 2 checking accounts and have both linked to my ING acct). I told the computer how much I wanted to transfer and it went through. I can transfer back and forth via the ING website I think I can transfer it in a day or 2 - once the account is open and the links are verified.

| I looked at it, and the only specifications I saw were that you cannot transfer money out of the account for 10 business days after you open it. After that, new deposits must stay in the account for 5 business days before they can be removed. DH is trying to convince me to put our savings here, and I am thinking about it. So I would appreciate feedback, good or bad, from anyone who can offer it. |

| I love ING we just got the checking added to our saving. The only bad part I have found is a transfer from our brick and motar bank to ing takes 4 days. I plan to start having part of my check go Direct Deposit which should help that.

| I decided against it because it says that it can take a few days to get money from your ING account to your checking account. Since right now, I am in a position where if I need money out of my account, it will be for an emergency (which means I will probably need it NOW), that won't work for me. |
