It was confirmed late last week that our Disney Store, the Berkshire Mall near Reading PA, was closing. We stopped in while we were in the neighborhood last night, to see if there were any bargains. There were only two other customers in the store (8:30pm), just like any other night. I guess word hasn't spread that they are closing.

They are currently at 10-30% off everything in the store. I didn't see anything priced 30% off, with most merchandise 10% off. I was disappointed, but not surprised, and hope they go deeper with the discounts next week. Most of the clearance was gone, shipped to the outlet no doubt and the videos and CD's were gone too (which I'd expected).

Clothing, PJ's - 10-20% off
Signature handbags and accessories - 10% off (sunglasses, wallets, etc.)
Home - 20% off (artwork, kitchen)
Kids clothing - 10% off
Tees - 10% off (I think, like $1 off)
Plush - 10% off (all sizes including bean bags and awful bobble heads)
They had some pins, didn't have a sign so I have no idea what the sale price is. I'd like to get at least one starter set with the badge holder.

DD purchased some things...a Mickey hoodie for $31.05, Signature sunglasses $13.05 (DD's going back to get me a pair for Mother's Day ) , headband $6.75, 2 sheets of stickers $2.99 each.

Not much of a sale in its first week of liquidation, and all sales are final! They crossed out the barcode on each ticket and stamped the receipt. No checks are being accepted, just cash and credit. I didn't take notice if gift cards were acceptable for payment.

There's still a lot of kids pj's, tees and toys, but here too, 10% off wasn't enough of a discount to entice me.
