| Anyone else not received their Tax Rebate? We were supposed to get ours by May 9th, didn't get it. Tried to look it up on their web site, they have no info for our rebate. Should I be worried yet? Anyone not get theirs?

| Did you file your taxes yourself or thru a firm (like H&R Block)? Someone reported that because they went thru H&R, it was going to take longer or they would get an actual check. Have you received the notice saying that it was due to be deposited on May 9th?? There will be contact info in that letter ![]()

| I used Turbo Tax and e-filed. Kinda makes me nervous that I did something wrong. I know that I got a message saying that they accepted my return though.

| We were also supposed to get our check on 5/9/08 and did not get it yet. We filed through our accountant and received our refund promptly (within a week). I also looked on the web site and they had no infor. It also said wait until the Wednesday after you were to receive the check so I'm hopeful it will be here tomorrow. |

| If you had the fee deducted from your return, then its a paper check that you'll be getting. If your check was direct deposited form the US Treasury, then you'll get a direct deposit check. Also if you had any special program from the prepare, its a paper check ( like a refund anticipation loan)

| We filed thru H&R block. Normal e-file, no loan type thing. According to the site we were supposed to get our today. Both DH and I have ss#'s ending in 92+. I hope we don't have to wait for a mailed check, we needed the money for Ireland. We leave in 4weeks. Send pixies please!

| The site also says you have to have filed at least 6 weeks ago. So, if you filed at the deadline, the six weeks haven't passed yet and the refunds won't be per the posted schedule. Here are pixies for everyone still waiting ![]()

| We were supposed to receive ours by the 9th as well. According to articles on the internet from various news sources there was a computer glitch that is going to cause a delay. They delay could be significant (up to 8 weeks). We received a letter from the IRS on the 10th telling us that we should recieve ours on the 9th and how much we were getting. It said that if we did not receive ours within 6 weeks to call. I guess we just wait now. |

This is what we did......When you use Tax Cut the-file fee is deducted from your return (instead of being paid separately). so then you will get a paper check. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news......

| Ahh.....I bet that's why we haven't received ours yet either. We also used Turbo Tax and opted to have the fees deducted. How frustrating. We were really counting on it for DDs birthdays. I'll have to ask DH if he received an e-mail.
