| we need to to what brazil is doing, they are not dependant on outside sources for oil i was watching it on one of those news shows I think they used sugar cane, and richard branson was buying corn for fuel something like that, it was interesting. and they have special cars I of course forgot what they were called but chevy made them

| Exactly. China has become an ENORMOUS consumer of not only petroleum, but building products as well. Masonry and concrete prices have shot up dramatically, but aren't noticed like the gas prices are. Concrete prices have tripled since 2005.

| IMO, as long as the government has their fingers in the pies, they'll go through the motions to make it look like they'll do something, but they won't in reality. Why would they hurt their own income to help ours?
