I've been selling items on Craig's List for several weeks now, but there was one item that I know is worth more that I wanted to sell on eBay. So I sat down tonight, and walked myself through the process. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will end up with a sale!
How's the sale going, Vicky? Are you having fun watching the action, or is it torturing you???
So far not much action. There are two people watching the auction, so hopefully there will be some bidding closer to the auction end. I did put a reserve on the item, because based on my research it is worth quite a bit. I will have to keep you posted on how the auction goes.
I've been a big scaredy-cat about eBay. I've sold 2 large items on Craigslist, but have wondered about ebay since I'd rather mail out small things than figure out how to get together with someone local for a five dollar item. My hang up is how to figure the weight, shipping costs, etc.

Good luck with your sale!
I will let you know how this goes. My preference still would be Craig's List just for the reason that you don't have to figure out shipping and you don't have to pay all the listing fees. I have had no problems with people stopping by to pick up items. If the buyers are men or people that I wasn't entirely sure about, then I have had them come in the evening after DBF is home from work. One lady met me at my work since it was halfway in between where she and I live. I have mailed a couple of items out through Craig's List upon request. I had the buyers mail me payment which included enough for shipping before I would mail it out.
