| June is not going to be a cheap month for me, as we're going to WDW June 20 - 29! Of course, our package (meal plan included) and airfare are all already paid for, but there will be $ for souveniers, FABs, tips, etc. I've got some things to purchase pre-trip as well...an extra bathing suit, snacks, more camera batteries, etc. Father's Day also falls in there as well. Yesterday was $0, so a good start at least!

| I ended up spending in May, but got great deals on things I needed....so was really saving. DH spent a lot as well...new Blu-ray player and a couple other electronic pieces for the entertainment system. Still, I think we were able to put some $ in savings. I thought June was going to be better...but no. Now I've planned a trip to WDW for 11-15 with DD. I am going to try not to buy any souveniers (not really that hard for me....but hard for DD). I have been using coupons when shopping (triple at Harris Teeter this week!) and our garden is going well (except the tomatoes that are dying and we're replacing) so I am saving a bit on food stuff.

| Dawn, I totally love "Just Say No June" -- spending money can be an addiction and I've got to get back on the wagon after falling off last month. Unfortunately, my first day back required some expenditures. $4 for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. $45 for shorts for my son $3 for leather cord to repair a necklace $20 for dinner out. However, I've made a commitment to myself to completely knuckle down. I do have a Disney trip in a week or so, but that should be quite inexpensive. (It helps that I'm better known for my ability to "bring the funny" than I am for being able to pay for stuff -- people offer me a free bed in their room!) Eileen

| Oooh, I just found this thread. I love it! I keep a daily journal of what I spend and trying to spend less of course like most people these days. Yesterday my spending was: Kroger (grocery store) $3.98 - for lunch Kroger (gas) $16.50 I also have a trip down to WDW in 19 days and I've been trying very hard to save cash. I have to do it! Good luck to all in regards to saving $$.

| Oh my. I so need to say no in June, Bad bad May. We actually only went over budget a little on vacation, it was the rest of the month that killed us. This month we are buckling down and hopefully getting our last credit card paid off.Yesterday: $0!!! DH stopped at Home Depot and got tiki torches, but he had a gift card, so it was $0.Today: $70 for a hair cut and color, that was budgeted. $76 at the vet for Cody who has a fungal infection in his ear. Not budgeted, but he is worth it. I am hoping for $0 days the rest of the week.
