| Today won't be a zero dollar day--DD has a appt. with the audiologist. But other than that, it'll be a cheap day! And we're out of milk. There's always tomorrow, right?

| Okay, I ended up getting the Breadman bread maker for $107 and can't wait to try it out this afternoon. I still need to stop at the Asian grocery store for the unusual flours -- my guess is that will be a $50-75 stop. After that, I'm hoping I can go without spending anything for a while! Eileen

| Eileen, I LOVE my breadmaker (I have a WelBilt) and use it ALOT! In fact, I am on my second one, I wore out my first one! ![]() Let's see, to catch up, Sunday was $15 for breakfast, and $169 in groceries. I have to do part 2 of the shopping today, as neither store in our area had good sales on everything. The store I shopped in on Sunday had a huge "10 for $10" sale on dry goods, but hardly any frozen sales, and the store I am going to today has a huge freezer sale, but hardly and dry goods! Yesterday was $0. Besides the groceries, my female Golden, Belle, needs to have surgery today (hematoma in her left ear) so that will be a big chunk. They are going to name a wing after her in my vet's office pretty soon. ![]()

| Pixies for Belle!$0 yesterday. (Mainly b/c I spent most of the day reading Pioneer Woman) Thanks Eileen! Today should be $0 as well, as I'm waiting for the cable guy to come out to make repairs and I need to finish laundry and start packing for the kids and my road-trip to La. on Thursday.

| Sue, I always hit up at least two grocery stores - for different sales and also different products that the other doesn't carry. It can be a hassle! I spent a good chunk of time reading Pioneer Woman, too! Thanks Eileen. Yesterday I spent $4 at Subway on a sandwich for lunch, $13 on gas and $2 on a giant ice cream cone.

| The GF bread in the breadmaker had us all salivating last night -- I can't wait to try it this morning once The Boy wakes up. The Asian grocery (for the funky flours) was $49. I just remembered that I still need a new pizza stone... I have to get a tank of gas ($25) and I bought a research book I wanted ($24) from alibris.com. Other than that, I'm hoping that I don't leave the house at all. I really need to get my weeding done before my front yard turns into The Little Shop of Horrors. ("Feed me, Seymour!") Eileen PS - Scarlett, doncha just LOVE the Pioneer Woman. That girl is crazy funny and loves her kids and hubby in such a charming way. And... MAN.... those horses and dogs slay me.

| Yesterday was $21 to play bingo (with my mom). I'm on vacation this week, and I haven't been to bingo with her in a long time. Anyway, I won $50 bucks! So I spent $35 at Hacienda last night and the last $15 at Hobby Lobby. I got a Pooh bookmark to cross stitch. Today was $5 at the grocery for some Coke, and $20 for gas. |

| Belle's bill was $476, but I can't put a price tag on her coming through the surgery with flying colors. It turned out to be not a simple hematoma, but a TUMOR growing in her ear canal. He also removed a pretty large lipoma (fatty tumor) that she's had but has been getting a little bigger. It was on her side near her shoulder, and he told me that although it was benign, we needed to make sure it didn't get too big so that it interfered with her walking. Since she was under anesthesia anyway, we just went ahead and removed it. As suspected, it was benign. He's not sure about the ear one, so he biopsied that. My precious girl is home and recovering! ![]() $170 at the grocery store yesterday but we are stocked to the gills for another month! I am ready for more $0 days!

| Yesterday was $0 and today was a whoppinng 75 cents. (Gotta love when the Cardinals score 6 or more runs, all drinks at Mobile on the Run are 25 cents!) Tomorrow starts the Road Trip from H E * *. I'm taking both kids to see my parents (DH has to stay behind and work) and it's an 11 hour drive. Did I mention the 7 yr. old gets carsick and the 2 yr. old HATES her car seat and screams 80% of the time when she's in it? YUCK- not looking forward to the drive, but looking forward to seeing the family. (Not to mention my sister SPOILS me and my children by taking them to fun places while I get to relax and have "Me" time) Expenditures should be minimal, with only gas and maybe a lunch or two out. I'm packing snacks/drinks/lunch for the car ride to save some $$$$$ as well.
