| $16 for dog food and treats at Wally World that I forgot to pick up yesterday. Treated myself to Qdoba for lunch as I have officially lost 28 pounds since the end of May. $8 for a naked burrito and a drink!

| Spent $520 today to buy an oriental rug to put on our soon-to-be-installed wood floor. We bought it at a discount warehouse, and it is 10x13 and beautiful, so it was a good buy. DH went to the supermarket. I didn't even want to ask how much he spent.

| I had the day off today, so we went to breakfast and spent $45 (including tip) for 4 of us. Then, I bought a hanging plan for $17 (it's really pretty and the yard really needed something flowery). But, I put all my change in my jar (don't know how much it is). I guess I need to not have days off

| Let's see - to finish off July 3 - we decided to not only go to the drive-in ($22), but to pick up a pizza for dinner. (22.80). After arriving at the drive in DD2 told us she didn't feel well. One touch of her forehead and I knew she has another fever. (Not uncommon for her, she has had a few UTI's which we have to watch closely as she also had kidney reflux. I got special permission to leave the drive in to get some fever meds and still get back in. At the store I picked up the medicine + some chocolate while standing in line - total was about $17. She still had fever at dinner tonight (July 4), so off to the hospital to have her checked for UTI. Turns out she does have a mild one. $14.00 to park at the hospital (for 5 1/2 hours, I might add). and a prescription that I have to fill tomorrow morning first thing for antibotics. No grocery shopping done yet..... btw - DD2 after taking the medicine slept through the entire night at the drive-in (and therefore missing the new Ice Age movie that was the point in going), while DD1 watched not only the first movie, but stayed awake for the 2nd one too. Therefore not sleeping until on the way home at 1:30 in the morning.

| Leaving for Alaska this morning - and the next two weeks will be on per diem - however I want to limit my expenditures as much as I can and bring home the left over $$ for debt reduction. We have the Western Caribbean DCL cruise the last week of the month - and 85% of excursions and on board fun have already been budgeted for. The past few days I have been getting cruise stuff - and Alaska travel stuff. Wedding planning has continued along - as have wedding savings. I am saving $600 a month toward the wedding, using any left over per diem toward debt reduction - and my teaching $$ start again in Sept - and that will likely go to debt reduction too. My goal is to be down to only one card, the 2nd mortgage and the student loan by the end of the year and then focus on getting rid of the card and the mortgage - which would leave my existing mortgage and student loan. I hope to sell my townhoe next year - even if it means not making any profit on the home at all... I just want it gone.

| Yesterday was $15 at the grocery for a few items for our cook out. Today should be zero as I'm planning on staying in all day watching sports. Friday I did put $200 in my Disney savings account, and I counted my change bucket this morning, and so will have $100 to put in next week! |

| Hmmm alot going on in the last 10 days or so since I posted. Work has started on our new kitchen so I had a big clear out in the basement. I took some stuff to a car boot sale - thats the Brits version of garage sales! Made $200 and that goes in the pot for future WDW trips. At the same time bought a really good quality German stainless steel sink for $15 - totally new and in its box. The sticker on it was for $150. Work has started on the kitchen - work that is loooong overdue. There is no budget and it will cost what it costs. Its an old house that used to be a guest house, we`ve lived here 15 years and don`t do things in a hurry ![]() We are keeping the fridge stocked with beer as we like a happy workforce - that has been $25 so far. Cooked dinner for friends - $45 Spent three days in hospital - $4 (newspapers and mags) Always thankful for the "free" NHS. Today went out for lunch and was telling the guy there about my last few weeks (verbal diarrhea

| With no grocery shopping done on Saturday, we didn't have enough food for breakfast in the house - so we used a 20% off coupon we had for Denny's and had breakfast out - $40. Off to Walmart to pick up DD2's prescription - DH also needed to pick up his blood pressure medicine - so $148 at the pharmacy - this should all be reimbursed between our two benefit plans - an addition $91 for groceries and a new pair of sandals for DH. I need a $0 tommorrow.

| Been "away" from this board for a few days and it showed I ended up spending lots: a grocery store trip ($54), some fireworks Yipes! I made lunches for today and should have no major expenditures this week other than normal bill paying and groceries. Eileen PS - Karen, if I can find the breed here in PA, will you fly out and pick him up? PPS - congrats, Dawn! That's terrific! ![]()
