| $0 day! I went without black beans on the chicken fajita nachos I made tonight because I knew that a stop at the grocery store would mean splurges on other stuff (Nutter Butters! Cap'n Crunch! Baby Corn! Festive Napkins!) 'cause I was hungry. ![]()

| Never got to get the propane tanks filled. Did return the cable to WalMart. DH spent $62 at Home Depot, so that negated the return. And I spent $15 on a few groceries. And I still need to get the gift card. Bleh. ![]()

| $78 at online at Kohls but I got some excellent deals on work clothes for Chuck. Got 2 white button down and 1 lt. blue oxford, 2 ties, 6 pairs of socks, two golf shirts, and a pair of shorts for me. I hit the awesome weekend sale. This was done on Sunday. $62 today on a iHome for my office. iTunes was bogging down my work computer to keep open through the day so something had to be done. Not planned for but no complaints as we have been really good over the past six months.

| 7/6 - spent $3.65 on coffee and breakfast since I slept in this morning. Also had to stop and pick up a couple of grocery things we couldn't get at Walmart yesterday - $26.

| $12 on take out food yesterday - our "kitchen" is a sink, fridge and microwave. Everything else is packed away. DH did offer to take me out to dinner but I didn`t feel up to it. I did withdraw $15,000 from our mortgage equity account, we can withdraw money we`ve overpaid over the years. I didn`t want to take the money from savings as that money would probably never be put back. I think that mortgage account rate is 2.5%, so that small amount of interest is worth not touching the savings.

| Nothing yesterday. Today, my car had to go into the shop for an inspection and oil change. (I'm guessing this will be a $100 job.) I just realized that both dogs have to go for annual check-ups, bloodwork and meds -- ugh.... that's gonna be several hundred dollars right there (but, it's budgetted.) DH informed me last night that he ordered his new iPhone -- and that's gonna cost us $300. Yipes... my expensive July is getting more expensive! Eileen

| $34 at the grocery store. I went with the purpose of stocking up on Lean Cusisnes/Smart Ones that were on sale through today. Saved $21! I'll have to go back later this week - Diet Cokes go on sale tomorrow

| Yesterday we had to go and pick up some shirts DH was having altered. A two hour round trip We had lunch out and I bought some meat and salad for dinner. Also had two large latte`s as DH couldn`t face coming home. Good news is the kitchen is on the turn. Our builder removed a 400lb sandstone lintel - everything, floors, walls etc need to be replaced but as least now we can see what needs to be done.

| Ugh!! Ugh, ugh, UGH!! My poor old Ford needed new tires and new rotors - to the tune of $500 rather than the $100 I was hoping to spend. Luckily, I pad my budget and guesstimate that my annual inspection will cost at least $300. **sigh** This car has served us so well for 13 years that I really can't complain. (Not to mention that I can't afford to replace it yet.) Other than that, we were pretty good -- only $10 at the grocery store, but I forgot eggs. ![]() Today, The Boy and I need haircuts and that will probably be followed by a quick trip to Sams Club. Eileen
