| Well, I'm back on board! It's been almost 2 weeks since I've posted, which is never a good sign. Immediately after returning from our trip, my brother and his family came for a visit . . .. holy cow . . . .I blew through some money while accompanying them on their "Tour St. Louis" stuff. Then, not to mention the amount of food they/their kids ate (they helped some, but my grocery budget really took a hit). So, anyway, I'm back to try to hit budget and make up for losses by the end of the month. Although, today will be a bit expensive as I have to pick up a gift for a friend's birthday and then dinner out with her tonight. I have to make up $146 from my grocery budget - YIKES!

| Yesterday remained $0 -- partly because my niece wormed her way into the pedicure appointment my sister and I were going to enjoy together. Tonight will be expensive because we're responsible for dinner and, for some reason, I said "steak would be nice" -- so now I'm grilling London Broils this evening! After that, I think we're going to the boardwalk. Yipes! Still, staying at the fam damily beach house is practically free for my three. (no airfare!) Eileen

| Today I managed to make breakfast and lunch at home. So I only purchased coffee this morning - $1.89 BUT - I had Gymbucks to spend - they actually started tomorrow, but our local store allows us to put on hold for 24 hours, so I went to pick out my things today and found that like the last time I spent Gymbucks, they allowed us to actually shop today. So I picked up some summer clothes for next year - I always shop the sale racks for the next size. I got each of the girls 3 outfits (6 total) for $75 after deducting my gymbucks. The girls have soccer tonight, so no plans to spend for the rest of the day.

| $13 today for breakfast items at the bread store for DH to take to work each morning. Need to run to Walmart tonight, but don't feel like it so it may/may-not be all for today.

| July $=Hot Mess for me. It's my own fault. I'm making more now than I ever have in my entire life and I'm afraid I went a little crazy with my first 2 paychecks. Now it's time to buckle down and make that money WORK for ME, darnit! My work wardrobe should be pretty much set. I do need to purchase a pair of shoes to go with a business suit, but that's no big hurry right now. I've been HORRIBLE at packing lunch this week, so I'm going to kick myself in the rear and start that up again on Sunday. Dinners have been better, with take away/eating out planned ahead as a treat rather than a last ditch effort. I've still got another nearly $500 to shell out for my dental crown this month. Hubby's winding down his current job, but has no idea if he'll have any profit out of the last payment. That's been a disaster for the last couple of months. I am most certainly keeping "my" money here with me, though. He's not going to like it, but too bad. He's got to work. Period.
