| Did well all week with lunch - only bought once. Our trip is in less than 3 weeks. I needed new undies and socks, so asked youngest 2 DDs (20 and 15) if they wanted to go shopping with me to Kohls. No, said 20 year old. I'll buy you clothes for WDW. Well, mom with credit card - maybe Kohl's doesnt look so bad after all! Off we go. Both kids wear flip flops way too much, so I got them to buy new sneakers, and some shorts and tops. $315! Then to the mall. DD20 buys all her own stuff, and DD15 is a young 15, and not much into clothes, but as a treat, we go to Victoria's Secret to let them get new underwear. Made DD15 get measured for a good fitting bra. Each picked out somethings, and got a free stuffed dog, and were on top of the world with Victoria's Secret underwear! $120 later, I realize that this was an expensive bonding experience.

| $0 yesterday but today was a little expensive. Spent $130 on new kitchen goodies. Replaced my baking sheets (ours had lived a good life) with some quality ones. Bought a set of new cutting boards, an agg slicer (I didn't have one), a new peeler, and a salad spinner.

| I haven't posted much here this month, as I've been recuperating from surgery. but now that I'm feeling stronger, it's time to start again. Yesterday was $177.34 on groceries for the five of us. Hoping that'll last a couple weeks. Today I spent $1.50 on the newspaper and $20 on replacement plants for the yard for the ones that didn't thrive after the 2 months of hard rain we had. Got a good deal, though. They were buy one, get one free, plus I had some 1/2 off coupons that I was able to use as well. DS's are going to do the heavy digging for me, and DD is going to do the initial watering. Hopefully tomorrow will be a zero day!

| Brought breakfast and lunch to work (I can't eat breakfast until I have been away at least an hour!). Stopped at grocery store and got $35 worth of groceries, including shish kabobs that DH grilled for dinner.
