| Saving Spending Money Hi, When planning a trip to WDW it can be so overwhelming..airline costs, hotel costs, food..then spending money. To ease our spending money anxiety, I figure out how much we plan on spending per day. Usually we plan on $200.00 a day for our family of three including food. To save up instead of saying, "Oh, we have to save up another $1600.00 or so." We make up envelopes..one for each day of the trip, and each month, or pay period we put a "days" money aside. Before you know it, you've got all you spending money saved. Then on the trip, we put all the envelopes in a trip document folder, and each day we just pull an envelope. Any left over money from the previous day is spent first. When we came home from our trip in December we actually were not broke for the first time, but had $300.00 left over. (Mind you that was before we hit the earport shop!) It sure helps to reduce financial stress too. Hope this tip helps some one else too!
