I found the best way to save money!!

Do not bring your debit card or cash I had a $10. coupon for the Yankee Candle that expired today. I figured I better get over to Yankee Candle so I can take advantage of it.

I was going to get something for my Sister for Christmas. You just had to spend $20. to be able to use it. I looked around for a bit and only found Christmas gifty things so headed over to Target to look for some Tights for my Halloween costume. I found some cheap tights and a few bags of Halloween candy and headed to the register.

I realized I had forgotten my debit card at home, so handed over my CC. After swiping my card the cashier told me it was expired. OPPS, forgot

I had to then tell him I left my other card at home and leave empty handed. Boy was I embarrased. In the parking lot I did realize I had my check book and turned around to head on back inside. Then realized my ID was with my debit card at home.

So if you want to save money, do just what I did, leave all forms of payment at home

yeah, such a wasted trip lol.

I hate those days! Hopefully, you can at least make a quick trip back to Target to pick up everything you couldn't get today.

I have done the same thing.....at a restaraunt......AFTER we ate! Thank goodness I was close to home, and they let me run home to get it and come right back. I did have to leave them my name, address and phone number, and they gave me the paper with the info back when I brought the card back. I was so embarrassed!

Oh no! It's so embarrassing when something like that happens. Good that you have a sense of humor about it though.

I did the same thing once at the grocery store, standing in line with a full cart of groceries that had already been rung up. My checkbook was at home and my DH had the debit card with him (we only have one). No credit card either. SO EMBARRASSED! Luckily we only live 5 minutes from the store, so the cashier had me push the cart over to the side and run home to get my checkbook.

I am glad you were close to home I did order a dozen donuts at Dunkin Donuts for work once and realized I forgot my wallet at home. This was at a Dunkin Donuts I went to daily and they knew me so they just told me to pay them the next day I miss that Dunkin Donuts, everyone there was very friendly

I did go back today and got most of the stuff. Only thing I couldn't get was the Hershey's Halloween design bars, they were sold out
