| Milk for $1.50 a GALLON! We drink lots of milk - about 4 to 6 gallons of skim and 2 to 3 gallons of chocolate a week, I believe. Last night I found 1/2 gallons of skim on sale for $0.75. They were getting ready to expire - except some of them don't expire until the 30th and 31st. To us, that's plenty of time! |

| Good deal. When I am alone, I end up pouring most of a half gallon down the drain. Even when DD comes home, she has never drank milk. I am a huge "day old" fan though. there was a time when I never looked but once I discovered it, I've gotten great buys, like 3 bagels for $.75. We would never eat them all the day I bought them anyway. Diane Last edited by Huntermom; 10-27-2009 at 10:53 AM.. |

| I just heard on the radio this morning that farmers across the country have a milk glut and are slaughtering hundreds of dairy cows in order to decrease the amount of milk produced and drive up prices. |

| A few weeks ago, I was able to buy 1 gal at our grocery store for $1.97 (I got three..two for home and one for work). It was very exciting! Now we're back to $3.79 or such again......

| Nice! If I found a deal like that, I would freeze it! Walgreen's have gallon milk for $2.29, and sometimes they have it on sale for $1.89. Love it!

| I get milk at BJs Warehouse or Sam's Club and it is usually about $2.15 a gallon. |
