| I keep thinking of getting one of these machines. Maybe I will put one on my wish list for Christmas.

| We have a big winnie the pooh bank. When it is full or when we are leaving for disney, that is the money we let the kids have to spend. It usually comes out to over 50 for each. That way they budget themselves.

| We have one of those banks that sorts and rolls it as it goes. We usually have at least $100 in it. I think those CoinStar machines are a big rip-off. Why pay interest to count it? The bank will actually do it for you, if you deposit it. |

| I have used those machines a few times myself, but usually roll them myself cause I am too cheap to pay the interest. But for some, if time is an issue, I can see using them. I know at times it was worth me paying the interest when I had little time to do it. I believe some banks don't take it loose? or do all banks take it loose?

| I know the 2 branches of Bank of America near me will take it loose but I've always had less than $10 in loose change when I've taken it in. So I don't know if they'd accept it if you brought in alot. |

| We have a basket in our bedroom, and we both put all our coins in it at the end of each day. I roll what is in it when I have trouble lifting it with one hand.

| I sort mine as I go. I have 4 of those popcorn buckets from Disney world and I put quarters in one, Dimes in another, Etc. I figure once they are full or maybe half full, I will then roll them and deposit them in the bank to pay on debt. Do you sort as you go? or when your ready to roll? I'm using my popcorn bucket to collect coins, too! I keep a paper roll for each type of coin, and whenever I find change, I add it to the paper roll. I'm surprised at how quickly it can add up. One day I found about 3 $1 bills in the dryer. I immediately declared them to go into the "Disney Fund"!! I'm not sure if we'll keep the change in the bucket when it fills up, or if we'll deposit into our savings account. Either way, we're off to a good start. It won't be much longer and we'll have about $50. I figure that's a little more than I need for a tank of gas.

| I don't have to roll them, so I don't sort them.

| Before the trip. We're too lazy to do it more often than that, and use it for spending money and can't believe how FAST it adds up!

| Change goes into a big wine bottle ... and when it gets full I take the bottle over to the Commerce Bank near my house (actually, now it's TD Bank) and use their counting machine. I don't have an account there, but anyone can go in and use their machine and it's FREE! Beats the 9 cents out of every dollar that the Coinstar at the ShopRite charges.

| At the dollar store I bought this tube sorter. Every day I put my change in it and roll it up as it is full. Never have to sort or count. Susan

| I use plastic cups on the night stand to collect the change, anything over $3 in quarters goes into the appropriate cup. I always carry $3 in quarters in my pocket... When a cup gets about half full, except for the pennies, I count and roll. Once rolled, it goes into a drawer which is not that easy to get to and it stays there until we decide to deposit it for something we want. Right now, the drawer has over $200, which will probably be deposited for our WDW trip in a couple of weeks... When Jan was a waitress, she would toss all her change into a large coke bottle every day. Usually around Thanksgiving, we'd take an afternoon and roll everything up. That was her Christmas money. It always exceeded $700!

| We use a coffee can that we decorated with Disney stickers and we usually cash it all in a couple of days before our trip. That way there's less temptation to spend it elsewhere.
