We are going to Aulani this next January. I have started using my Disney Visa for everything I pay. Every bill I used to write a check for now gets paid on the card.
Just check our reward balance and it is up to $300.
That will really help for meals at the hotel. I can't wait to see how much more I can get.
I just finally opened the Disney visa with rewards myself!!! Was so excited to use it for this last trip, come home, pay it off and see those points!!!! I am using it to pay those everyday purchases as well and then just pay each month! Will be interesting to see how many points I earn between now and July!
do you all have the premier visa (annual fee) or the regular one? I'm thinking of downgrading to the regular one before my annual fee comes due. I've had it less than a year so the $100 back paid for the annual fee.
I just started a thread about this to see if I'd be better off using a different program.
We got the Disney Rewards card because we had an offer for a $200 Disney gift card if we spent $500. However, the regular rewards don't add up very quickly. I've used it for a couple of hundred dollars worth of purchases every week since early December and our rewards are only at like $11 right now.
We've received hundreds of dollars of rewards (usually Amazon gift cards) for our Capital One Venture Card. The COVC can also be used to pay for airfare and hotels too - even retroactively. The only kicker is that you can't pay for a partial of a travel expense with a reward.

We have the premier and it gives you 2% on restaraunts, grocery stores, gas and Disney purchases . It was worth it for us to upgrade because I run almost everything through our Disney Visa card. After a year of saving we are up to $1080 with 4 more months to go

Thanks for the info about the Disney Premier Visa. That is a great idea about paying monthly bills and gas/groceries etc with it to earn the rewards then paying it off every month.
