That is what we need for November, a nest egg. We have Thanksgiving, well, at least in the states. Then the holidays start full force, so lots of money going out. Hopefully we find ways to get extra coming in, but we know it will be going out.
Good luck to All in their savings!! Hopefully everyone finds great deals on all that is needed this month.
11/1: $0. Tried really hard for this too. Wanted to start the month off with a good start.
Tomorrow I do plan on going to get a jacket at JCPenney. I do have a $20. gift card and a $10. Gift coupon my mom got from the company. So with my discount I should get a great deal So tomorrow will not be a $0 day.
Ready to redeem some Swagbucks for an Amazon gift card, have an Ebates check on the way, and teaching a couponing class for some extra $$ for the nest egg.
Holiday shopping is almost done but a holiday trip (Disney of course) is in the works!
Oh boy, the new month didn't exactely start out cheap for me...
11/1: $12 on pizza (want)
11/2: Since Thursday was a national holiday over here, DH took a day off of work today. We went shopping and spent a bunch of $$$ on new winter shoes for both DH and me I also splurged a bit and bought a pair of perl earrings that I've had my eye on for months Oh, and $32 on a birthday gif for a friend (need), and $22 on groceries (need).
The next few days should be better spending-wise though!
Nov 1 - $0
Nov 2 - Out to dinner with DH - $60, Movies - $10(matinee), Popcorn and soda at the movies $12.50, Ice cream - $9.31 - it's our date night and our only night out for the week - possibly for the month!
Yesterday was not a $0 day like I knew it would not be.
$24. at JCPenney for a new fall coat and wallet (want) I had a gift certificate that I used and a $10. coupon too.
$8. for lunch at Chik fi la (want)
$4.50 at Dairy Queen. (want)
Tracy, you sure deserve a night out! I am constantly amazed, though, how expensive that has become. "Dinner and a movie" easily sets us back $90 these days So we tend to stay in more often now than we used to.

Thanks! I was amazed that popcorn and soda cost more than 2 matinee tickets! We belong to the local theater and tend to go out there. But that is also why DH and I won't have another "date" this month because he is currently Stage Manager for the play "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" which has its run all month.
I love Swagbucks! I have enough to redeem them for a $25 Amazon gift card, but I'm trying to hold out for the $100 Southwest gift card. It won't make the cost of airfare seem as terrible for our next vacation.
11/1: $0
11/2: $18 pizza for dinner (want)
11/3: $228 Target (Christmas shopping)
$115 groceries (need)
$46 gas (need)
Whew! Today has been an expensive day! However, I made a dent in Christmas shopping and didn't use the credit card!
Yay, I've had my first $0 day yesterday and it's only the 3rd day of the month I'm so happy! After a few bad months spending-wise, I think I'm getting back on track this month
Great job on the $0 day again Sabine! And Jenny great job on not using a CC for the Christmas shopping.
11/3: $7.48 Wendy's for lunch: (want)
11/4: $1.35 in the vending machine at work for a soda. (want) It was a $0 day, but I forgot my water at my register and didn't realize it till after I punched out for lunch. I did not feel like going down 2 floors to get it. Would have eaten up too much of my lunch time.
