Disney Visa Rewards Question

Does anyone know if you have to wait until the Rewards Points post for a transaction before you can pay the bill off?

For example, I just paid for our hotel room for our November trip using the Visa card. The charge has posted to the bill (online) but the rewards points have not yet posted (they only do this on certain days, right??). So, if I pay the bill off now (before the points post) will I still get the points??

Sorry Maggie could you rephrase the question? Why would you not get the points? Are you saying you want to call for the Reward Certificates now and will you get the points?

Re: Disney Visa Rewards Question

No, I want to pay my bill before the points are awarded.

i.e. I paid for something with the Disney visa and I want to immediately pay the visa off. But the reward points won't have posted yet.

If my balance is $0 since I paid the bill off, will I still get the points for the purchase?

Re: Disney Visa Rewards Question

Yes you will still get the points. - You will have to wait for them to be posted on your account, however, before attempting to redeem them. -
