I was wondering if anyone had some tips or advice on selling items on Ebay? This will be a new venture for me, so I am a little clueless about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My best advice would be to take the Ebay tutorial.. it will tell you just about anything you need to know to get started selling. I am an Ebay training specialist & I recomend the tutorial to everyone to start..

I so agree. Also I set up a Paypal account and that helps as well. As someone who also buys from ebay, I tend to only buy from people who takes Paypal. That way if something happens, you have some recourse.

Something else to keep in mind is to keep a great rating, make sure you resolve any issues before people leave feedback. I have found that most are willing to help if they know that there is an issue.

I agree with the posts above. My DH and I have been selling on Ebay for about 8 years off and on now. And I think I'm still learning about it. I would suggest starting off slow. Like only ship within the USA to start. State in your auctions specifically payment methods. I prefer PayPal but I will take a money order. I also state that the buyer must contact me within 3 days of the auction ending and payment in due within 7 days unless other arrangements are made. If you want to see how I list things my ebay name is: princesscassidylyn. You can do a search for user name in the advance search.
I don't know what you are selling but make sure you aleays add a little extra to shipping for yourself. It helps cover your fees. That want most people do.
