We just became members in February. We took advantage of SSR friends and family discount. We got 250 points for '05. We are using 250 points plus 140 of our '06 points in July. We have a December use year. We have to bank our remaining 110 by May 31st. When would we be able to use these points.

Banking simply moves the points from one Use Year to the next. If they were originally December 05 points (valid 12/1/05 to 11/30/06), they would become December 06 points (valid 12/1/06 to 11/30/07)

Bear in mind that those dates represent nights stayed in a resort. When you actually book the trip makes no difference.

The 110 points are from our '06 points. Does that mean I have to bank them by May 31 and then they would be good for 12/07-11/08?

Gotch. Sorry, didn't read closely enough.

For your Dec '06 points, they are good from 12/06 to 11/07. Banking would move them to 12/07 to 11/08.

Since you are banking less than 50% of your total points, you could wait as late as 8/31/07 to actually perform the transaction.
