We just passed our rofr with disney yeah for us!! We will be owning okw in about 1 month. I do know since the Beach Club isn't our "home resort" we have to wait to the 7th month to book.

What are our chances is this a slower time with dvc do you think there is a chance we could book at the beach club??? btw our dates to go is aug 18- aug 25, 09

I'd say your chances are pretty good. Most schools are starting to return to session by then and things really slow down at WDW.

Just a heads-up that there are actually two different types of two bedroom villas at BCV--some have two queen beds in the second bedroom and some have one queen plus a sofabed. The type of room you will get is dictated at the time of booking. The rooms with two queens are in short supply and tend to go first, so your odds of getting one of those are remote. But I'd say you have a decent chance of getting a queen + sofabed room at 7 months for that time period.

I'd say pretty good.
We got a 2br BCV unit in 2006 for the last week of August without any trouble when we called on our 7-month check-out date.

I'm guessing your chances should be pretty good. That's a slower time in August. Most Southern schools are back in session. Free dining starts right around the tail end of your trip also. Good luck!
