???? Banking points

So does anyone know, is there a limit on how many points you can bank, or years worth of points.? Is it possible to bank 3 or more years?

You can only bank a year's worth of points. For example. You have 160 points . . . you use 60 and bank 100. Those 100 points are good only for the next year. You have access to only 3 year's worth of points at any given time: banked from the year before, current, and borrowed from the following year.

Think of "banking" as simply rolling your points forward one year.

Points that were normally valid in your 2008 Use year become 2009 points. Points in your 2009 Use Year become 2010 points.

As stated, you can ONLY roll them forward a single year. The most points you can ever have access to at a single time is 3 years' worth: Banked, current and borrowed points. If you own 150, you could have up to 450 points to use in a single year via those rules. For example:

2008 points banked
2009 points current
2010 point borrowed

The above would give you 3x your points to use in the Use Year for 2009. If you wanted to consistently do this, you could only take trips every 3 years. In this example your next trip would be 2012 when you used 2011 banked, 2012 current and 2013 borrowed.

Of course, you still need to pay dues on the points every single year.

You can only "bank" one year of points at a time.

So if I understand this correctly 2008 can be banked into 2009. But if I don't use them in 2009, I can't roll them into 2010. I lose the 2008 points.

My DSiL INSISTED that DVC was going to let her bank all her points from 3 years so she could go to Paris.

Yeah. Not so much. She lost 150 points that year.
