| AFAIK, the 0% for six months offer is a standing deal. We've had the visa card since it was first offered and they always have had that deal. The downside to it is that payments go toward the oldest charges. So in order to really benefit, you need to charge the DVC down payment and then not use the card again for the next 6 mos. If you do use it and make payments, the payments will go toward the DVC first and your subsequent charges will begin to accrue interest. There is some fine print on the 0% offer. It's only good on the down payment and is capped at 10% (?) of the purchase. So if you buy $15000 worth of points, you can only put $1500 on the visa interest-free. If you finance the rest of the purchase thru DVC, it will begin to accrue interest immediately (or in accordance with the contract terms.) A few months ago there was an offer for $500 in Visa reward dollars for a DVC purchase. That deal ran most of the summer but ended over a month ago. You can't get that bonus any longer. |

| What Tim said is very true about the oldest charges, as well as the payments going towards any higher interest charges first. (Yes, I found out the hard way

I heard on a financial TV show that you should call your credit card companies & ask for a better interest rate, I called every card I had & everyone lowered the rates. Funny what you can get by asking
