| dvc..and ddp Ok. I have a question. New at this. If you are a dvc member and do the deluxe dining plan, does everyone who is staying in your villa have to do it as well? Or, can they chose another dining plan our pay OOP? Come January we will be new dvc members and planning a trip in June 2010 for my parents, sister and family and us. My sister doesn't eat alot and I don't think the deluxe plan would be good for her. I thought I had read somewhere that everyone in your room has to be on it. |

| That's my understanding that you all have to be on the same plan. It's an unfortunate position, as by the sounds of it, the plan would work for everyone, bar one. I have to say, the way we did the Deluxe Plan was to have a signature meal a day and one other meal and that wasn't too much food for us. Don't forget, at the signature restaurants, they do work out portion sizes to ensure that you're generally not stuffed by the end of the meal. I don't know if that helps at all?

| Yes everyone that is listed on the reservation has to be on the DDP, for length of stay too, if you choose to purchase it. Now you can get around this somewhat. You cannot list your sister on the reservation, as long as you're not going over the occupancy limit by doing this. The only downside to this is that she will not get a KTTW card in her name. If that does not matter to her then you can do it this way. When the DW and I booked our trip in Sept we asked about this, as my DMiL is staying with us but for only for 5 of 14 nights. We were told that if she is listed in the room then she HAD to buy the DDP for the whole time, but if we did not list her she would not be able to get a room key. Now this might of just been a CM who did not know what they were talking about, as that NEVER happens !! It never hurts to ask.

| Keep in mind that if someone is not listed on the reservation, not only will she not have a room key, but she won't be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours (which require proof that the guest is staying on-site). Melissa

| Thanks! I guess my DS and BIL can just pay for the deluxe dining, beings they are not having to pay for a room. |
