AKV Concierge Room Location About This Page:

Can someone tell me where the Concierge rooms are? What Savanna they overlook, if any? I am debating whether to go ahead and just stay in the Concierge Club Level or stick with Savanna view. It's only 1 more point per night to stay in Concierge and since we are only staying 3 nights total this is definitely doable. My preference for room view is the savanna though. I was going to request Arusha Savanna, Zebra Trail to have the biggest savanna view. Any suggestions or thoughts?

I would love to know the answer to this as well. There has to be a map someplace that has this info. DVC won't give it up. I know its either a pool or savanna view. You can request a savanna view. We are going to do a split stay, to see if we like club level or not.

You can search for room criteria at AKV and get a matching list of resorts. Change the Room Class value to "Concierge" and hit Submit. You'll get a list of all Concierge rooms along with guest comments and balcony photos.

There are only 5 lockoff Two Bedroom villas (10 rooms total) in the entire Concierge category. 40% overlook the pool and 60% the Sunset Savanna. You cannot guarantee a Savanna view at the time of booking--you could get either pool or savanna.

Since the number of Concierge rooms is so small (only about 1.5% of AKV), you often need to call exactly 11 months to the day to get a Concierge reservation. They go quickly!

We stayed Conceirge in June and had a pool view. We were on the 6th floor (room 6406) and had a pool view. We booked Concierge again in August because we like it so much. I believe most of the room in the hallway and across had DVC logos on them.

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed. I think I will wait until I have stayed at AKV once at least before I try Concierge. This trip I am really looking forward to the Savanna view from my room so I think I would be disappointed if I didn't get that view. Plus since I will not be using my AKV points this trip I will wait until I can book at 11 months. I also want to take advantage of the Sunrise Safari but I won't be able to do that this trip.
