| Possible Change in Valet Parking I don't know if it is true or not. I sure hope not. On another DVC website it is being reported that effective tomorrow valet parking will no longer be free to DVC Members. It says that Disney has outsourced the service and now they are charging everyone including DVC Members. I don't see how they can do this to DVC Members without any kind of notice since they list it as one of the many perks you get. Anyone else heard this rumor?

| We just became members last weekend and we were told it was a perk. I would think if it was in the process of changing we wouldn't have been told about it. Hopefully someone will come along with a more definite answer.

| I know Valet Prices were increased to $14 but as far as I know right now DVC members and those with Handicap Placards, or plates, and those with the TIW card still get the perk of not having to pay.

| I don't believe it is true: Disney World Parking Remember that valet parking is free to DVC members ONLY at a DVC resort, not at all resorts.

| My DW loves to valet, while I like to self-park. She won't like this change at all, since it gives me a reason to self-park ("honey, it's free while valet is $12 plus tip!"). I should still get free valet while dining using the TIW card.

| Hmmmm. According to DIS and Allears, valet is still free for DVC members. I think I will call MS to confirm or deny.

| I called and it is not true. Check this site that Sue posted earlier-scroll to the bottom - Disney World Parking Like she posted - it's still free at the DVC resorts that offer valet parking, for DVC members.

| I just called Member Services myself and I was told that "Unfortunately it is true". He also said they just found out about it themselves.

| Man! It figures it kicks in a day before we arrive at BWVs. That stinks!!! I am surprised that DVC would change this with so little notice. I know they can do it, but it still stinks. At least we have our TIW card. Beth

| ARGH!  While we didn't use parking at AKL, I'm still remembering what a nightmare parking was at the Boardwalk. That was definitely a case of valet being worth every tip we paid!
