Any advice on Kidani savanna room request?

We are super excited about our first visit "home" to Kidani Village later this month! We are staying in a 1-bedroom savanna view room, and I was wondering if any previous visitors have any advice regarding location? I would like to be a reasonable distance from the main lobby and pool, but we're also likely to walk over to the Mara a couple of times. I know the resort is tremendous with multiple savannas, so any insights would be appreciated!

all I hear about it how far it is to the pool. (If you are on the outer parts). IF pool time is important go for this request. Maybe suggest near an exit??
Our next trip for example we asked for this: To have a savanna view, near the lobby close to an elevator for medical reasons for our DD.

Hope this helps

well the animals are right there - so would go for 2 or 3rd floor - if you can.

now only visited so far - but the building was not as big as I though - you can walk it.
