Question about DVC 1 bedroom bathrooms

I was on the DVC site tonight taking virtual 360 tours of all of the 1 bedroom rooms in WDW. I'm wondering, they all show a jacuzzi type bath tub and a walk in or stand up shower.

When we just stayed at BCV in a studio they had the traditional bath tub and that was it.

So my question is, do all DVC 1 bedroom rooms have the jacuzzi bath and stand up shower? Or is it only certain rooms?

I think it's all the DVC rooms. DH and I just stayed at SSR and you're right: the Studio has the normal tub/shower combo and the 1-bedroom had the jacuzzi tub with a walk-in/stand-up shower as well. We switched between a Studio and a 1-bedroom while staying there so they are the same as you saw.

One bedrooms, two bedrooms and three bedrooms all have the spa tub with the seperate shower. OKW has the largest spa tub, HUGE! All other DVC's have the regular sized spa tubs. Nothing beats coming back at night and relaxing in the tubs. On a side note, I always bring a small travel bottle of bleach and a little dishwasher detergent (it doesn't suds up) to clean the tub prior to using. Fill it up, put the bleach and dishwasher detergent in and run the jets for a bit. Drain, refill and run the jets again to rinse. Just makes me feel better. Sometimes they don't get used and there is mold and who knows what else lying in the jets. I've had black gunk come spewing out when I've run the jets before using. Ick.

OKW tubs are definitely the largest. But VWL, BWV, BCV and SSR have quite large oval Jacuzzi tubs as well. Here's a photo from BWV:

All 4 of those resorts pretty much have identical designs.

BLT and AKV went to more traditional rectangular tubs with Jacuzzi jets. In fact, the AKV rooms at Jambo House do not have the separate shower. These rooms were created by converting old standard hotel rooms into villas and either space limitations or plumbing issues prevented them from adding the stand-alone shower stall.

Awesome news! I really like the walk in showers, while DW is more into the jacuzzi tub. It'll be nice though, to have more then the standard tub for a change...

As I said, some, if not all non-studio rooms at AKV Jambo do NOT have showers. Here is a floorplan from one villa:

The master bath on the right has a tub/shower combo, dual sink vanity and the latrine, plus a closet for the A/C system.

There are many small variations in the Jambo rooms since they were converted from standard hotel rooms rather than built from scratch. I can't say with 100% certainty that ALL Jambo rooms are missing the shower stall, but at least some of them are.

Moral: If the shower is important to you, avoid Jambo.
