Breakfast/club level AKL/check in

Because I'm an nut. I was trying to plan out our ADR's, so I have month to change things around. So then I got thinking. We are switching on Friday to Club level, so does that mean I could possibly do an early check in and go and eat my breakfast even if my room is not ready? Just trying to strech my DDP plan.

I would think that yes you could do this. They give you your KttW card when you check in regardless if the room is ready or not, they just dont tell you the room # the key is active for. Therefore, I assume you need the KttW card to enter the club level, you will have an active club level KttW card it would not be a problem.

I have actually done this several times with no problem whatsoever. They will actually take you upstairs to check in and most probably go ahead and tell you to help yourself to breakfast.

Take full advantage of it!

We will already have our KTTW card, because we will have 3 days a AKL villas, we are just switching buildings. So I'm guessing they will just use the same cards and make them active for club level at check in?? who knows.

You will receive new key cards whenever you have to check-in again. That applies even if you are switching room sizes or views within the same resort. So yes, you will get an entirely different set of key cards when you move from Kidani to Jambo Concierge.

Also, since you mentioned the DDP, be aware that your dining credits will be tied to each of your separate resort stays. If you are first spending 3 nights at Kidani, you will pay for 3x dining credits when you arrive and those credits will expire at midnight on the day you leave Kidani. If you also decide to purchase the DDP for the concierge stay, you'll pay for the appropriate number of credits when you check in there and the credits will expire when that stay ends.

In other words, the two resort stays are completely separate regardless of the fact that they are both at the "Animal Kingdom Villas."
