| Grand opening celebration Doorway To Dreams So we got up very early 730am this morning we got ready had breakfest and headed for rooservelt field mall . We got there about 930am and it was suppose to start at 10am they had the backdrops for where the charecters were going to stand and the podium for the Dj and DVC reps all over the place . they started the line for the charecters we got on line and the first ones to come out were daisey, goofy and pluto . we got our pictures taken with them then moved in front of where the DJ was . And then i saw an area that was roped off , It was for the mickey's mom's panel there were 3 ladies . behind them they had an area where you would go with the invite or if you did not have an invite to do a tour and meet with a DVC rep . Then i talked to a CM and asked where is mickey and minnie he said they would be out in a half hour . So we moved back on line again and the line got very very long . We were saying that we might not get a chance to see mickey and minnie but we got lucky by 4 families and not only did mickey and minnie come out but Chip and Dale came out as well they are sooo cool  they are the most playfull i think of all the charecters . As per give aways they were giving away doorway to dreams mickey ears to everyone other then that they also had photo pass there as well for memories of this event . I have pictures i will add the link when my wife puts them on .

| Glad you had a good time, so did we, actually i think we saw you, no I'm positive, I saw the passporter badge and I'm sorry I didn't say hello, I was a little distracted because we had friend with us. It was a great time!!!! Again, sorry I didn't say hello but I was excited to see a fellow passporter!!!!

| I drove from Central Jersey to Long Island for the grand opening. What a crowd  . Anyway, when I attended at the Garden City Hotel on August 30 I bought my first 160 DVC points for BLT. I guess I am addicted because now at the grand opening of Doorway to Dreams after seeing the model of the villas, I bought another 75 to add on. Yikes I haven't even made the first payment on the first 160. I gotta control myself. But I am very happy.

| Jeff, yesterday I was thinking of you and the other PPs who may have been at the Grand Opening Glad you had a great time! Sorry I wasn't able to make the trek out there yesterday, but I will sometime soon. Looking forward to your pics JenJen, glad you had a good time, and purchased more points! I know, had I been there, I would have done the same
