| Question About Mousekeeping Since next August will be our first stay as DVC Members, I have a question about mousekeeping. I do understand that you do not get traditional mousekeeping as everyone does at a regular resort. On day 4 you are supposed to get trash and towel service. I understand that too. But what if before day 4 you have built up alot of trash because you have used the kitchen alot. They do have a garbage disposal right? So I guess food wouldn't stink in the trash. But what do you do if you do have alot of trash to be collected? Just wait for day 4 and then day 7? |

| This happens to us all of the time - you can take out your own trash if it's full before the days you'll get service. My DH always takes it out so I can't even tell you where it goes but I know it goes somewhere!

| On our last trip we had several times we filled up the trash, we had 7 people and 1 in diapers. We asked a mouse keeper where we could dispose the trash, she was glad to point us in the right direction. I was first very unsure of no mousekeeping. But I ended up loving it. I didn't feel over worried about someone "looking"at our things, ect.

| I buy the smaller garbage bags and take out any food items that I don't want to smell in our garbage. We threw away our stuff in an outside dumpster area at SSR, and gave our bag to a CM who was in the hall for Mousekeeping at AKL. If you ask them when you see them I'm sure they'll be glad to direct you to a place where it can be taken care of. ![]()
