Waitlist came through! We are heading to Disney in Nov. 2010 for the National Council of Teachers of English conference. When I called to book our rooms at Beach Club, they only had the first three nights available. We booked Boardwalk for the last three nights and asked to be put on the waitlist for Beach Club. That was maybe two weeks ago. Lo and behold, I come home from work on Thursday to find that our waitlist had come through! We now have all six nights at Beach Club!
(We are using our DVC points for two reasons. 1: We had some points that we had to use by 12/10 or we would lose them and 2: the school does not have any money to send me to this conference, so I am taking care of my lodging through DVC. I did get a small grant to fund my conference fee and plane fare.)
