what are the odds

okay, so we are booked right now for bay lake 2 bedroom lake view for 9 nights in october and waitlisted for beach club. I was just looking at some dates and we could honestly do Sept if we wanted, we would just be giving up Food and Wine Festival. When I punch in Sept dates, Beach Club comes up with 8 out of 9 nights available. So tell me this, are our odds better with getting that 1 night to come thru in Sept or to get the whole week to come thru in October?? I am thinking the 1 night would be easier to get especially since it isn't during FWF.

BCV is notoriously hard to get during F&W unless you own there and can book at 11 months out. September is easier to get. And with only 1 day needed you would certainly have a much better chance.

I agree with PP. October is a very popular time at the DVC properties.

If BC is truly what will make your vacation perfect and if you are able to switch your dates then i would do it. We have waitlisted before always for our full weeks and have never had any luck We did a split stay once and we perfer not to switch properties mid-stay again.I have always been told 1 day here or there are more easier to book then a whole week. I cant speak for BLT havent stayed there yet but when we tried to book there at our 7 months (i think we are going the same week in october) we couldnt get all our nights there so you can look at that ressie as a lucky one that you got. good luck with your decision
