When I called to book our November trip we could only get five nights at SSRS. I looked at Art of Animation and we could stay there for the other two night for about $250. I asked to have the other two nights put on the wait list, BUT, we are trying to do a Disneyland trip next September. Right now, we have 81 points left over for 2012. IF we can get a two bedroom at GCV and we use the remaining 81 points we would only need to borrow 45 points from 2014. If we end up in a studio and one bedroom, we would still only need to borrow 62 or 63 points, I can't remember exactly now. Obviously, I'd rather borrow 45 or 62 points as opposed to 126 or 143 points. That would almost mean we couldn't take a trip in 2014 and I don't want the kids to miss a year just so we can go to California.
So, can I call and get off the wait list? While part of me hates to have to change resorts toward the end of our stay, I'd really like to save those 81 points.
