To say I have two countdowns on my phone right now?

112 days until the 7 month window to book not SSR.
3XX days until we travel *fingers crossed* (Sorry phone is not with me and It is depressingly far away.)

The really sad part is I am planning where to eat already. That will be the next countdown once I have rooms.

DH has an event around when we are going I have told him that he has until the 2 days before the 7 month window to get dates. No dates at that point we are going to Disney and I am not changing my dates for them. SO THERE ! Actually he agreed and has helped with the list of which DVC we would like in which order.

The WAIT is slowly doing me in.

Don't worry - you're not alone. I think we all get like that when a Disney vacation is a long way off. Hopefully the time will start to move more quickly for you soon.

I'm right there with ya! We are 300+ days before our next trip and I haven't even done a "til booking" countdown (yet). But I still "research" dining, lodging, etc.

I am just as bad, we have a trip planned Feb 2013, another August 2013. The February trip is completely planned, the August 2013 trip is as planned as it can be until my 7 month window so I am now thinking about our next trip after that which may be in 2015 but may be as late as 2016 and I still already know what I want to do and have a contingency plan in case I can't get what I want or if the flights are too expensive.

Drives my husband mad when I come out with things like in 2016 would you prefer California or Florida.....He doesn't know what he wants to do this weekend.

I think we all have a little of the Mickey madness in us.

Ha! I have 4 countdowns going! Two on my phone, one on my computer and one we made (pintrest inspired). I can't help myself...I get way too excited about our trips too. I am already counting down for a trip my husband has not even agreed to yet along with our recently PIF Christmas season trip .

We don't leave until may and basically I'm all done. I have friends say "but its like 7 months away". I often wonder when they plan their vacations, a month in advance??? I could never do that.

I plan when I return from a WDW Trip! usually withn a week of our return we make plans for future ADR's based on our last trip-decide the resort and things we missed or liked to do next trip. I am already done planning for next September!

We are still 383 days from our trip, but my Excel sheet is almost all done already with all meals and parks and activities! LOL.
Or couse, loads of editing as they announce MVMCP dates for next year etc...

But, no you are definitely NOT alone!

My wife and I weren't home 24 hours before we had already booked our next trip.

you know it is really funny we had a conversation on this topic at work today. My boss was talking about booking holiday homes at the beach in Italy and France. he was basically saying it is impossible because you have to book 1 year in advance. I told him i always boo my holidays like that. He looked at me in amazement and said how can you do that? that means you must know already what you want to do in 2014. i replied no but only because 2014 will probably be a relocation year for us workwise so we won't plan a holiday. I didn't have the heart to tell him that not only do I have a plan on paper for 2013, I also have one for 2016, 2018 and 2020.
