My DW and I are not yet owners (but hope to be in the future) but my parents decided they wanted to take all the kids/grandkids to WDW next summer and we decided for the bang for our buck, that point rental was the way to go after a long discussion of our different options.
We put the request in at about the 10 month mark, but David's didn't have enough BLT points to get our request for us, but now about a week after the 7-month mark has passed, we've got our rooms!
We're going to have a 2-bedroom and a couple studios for our whole family to go for a big trip to WDW!
It'll be the first trip for one of my brothers and his family, and the first trip since, I believe, 1990 for my parents.
Now we get to go home for Thanksgiving and talk about ADRs.
You guys are going to have so much fun! What a terrific location.

Thanks! We've been a couple years without a trip, so we've been getting the Disney shakes, so having this trip to plan has been fun so far, especially since we'll have 3 first-timers and a couple people that haven't been for years.
