| Re: renting DVC points We did rent our points out one year that we couldn't go. It was a pretty easy process, I posted a message on the board Don referenced. Someone contacted me that they were interested, we agreed on a price per point, and I called and made the reservation in their name. We agreed on a deposit and when the final payment would be due (I think it was 60 days prior to check in). When I got their deposit, I sent them the confirmation with their name on it. I got the final payment on time, and that was it! I sent a follow up email a few days after the reservation ended to make sure everything went okay, and the family answered that the only problem was that it will be hard to go back to a regular room after staying in a 1BR villa! |

| Re: renting DVC points Just rented points to another DVC member who wanted a trip in November, but didn't want to borrow points from next year. It was very easy to do. We are using the money to stay at the Swan for New Year's trip. Connears |
