Should I...UPDATE? DH and I had originally planned to make our first trip "home" to SSR Sept. 25th - Oct. 1st. Since DH hasn't found a job yet we are thinking about postponing it to later in the year (if DH finds a job) - Nov. 27th - Dec. 3rd or the week after. I know that the first week is during Mousefest, but wasn't sure if we would be able to get a room during that time period. What would you do - hold out and see what happens or switch the ressie to make sure we have a room during that popular DVC time?

Re: Should I...? If you need to postpone your trip I'd make ressies now to make sure you have them. You can change them 31 days out without losing the points. I booked a trip for Jan '06 knowing that I had time to change the ressie if needed.

Re: Should I...? I'd make the reservations now. We booked the Beach Club Villas for 29 November - 7 December and, on three of those nights - I think it was 4, 5 and 6 December, we were told that there were between three and eight studios left available. ![]()

Re: Should I...? Make your ressies now while you can. We booked at the 11 month window for SSR for 12/7-12/11 and I was told then there were not many studios left.

Re: Should I...? Thanks for your responses. I am booked for a 1 bedroom at SSR Nov. 27th - Dec. 3rd. Now here is hoping that DH finds a job and that he has vacation time for that week so I can meet some of you at Mousefest.
