Hello. I am in the process of becoming a DVC member and wanted to share some information with you all. I inquired before June so I am able to get the $95 SSR rate. The incentives were 100 extra points ("free vacation") OR $8 per point paid towards purchase AND paid 2005 dues. If I went with this option my use year would be September (and that's when I'd recieve my first 150). I am not using the Disney Financing so I decided on the 100 points and paid 2005 dues. So, I gave her my $500 deposit. She called me back today saying that in order to get the 100 points I would have to give a 10% deposit. So here I'd be paying $14,250 total receiving 100 free points, paid 2005 dues, and receiving my 150 points in September.

So we got to talking and she told me about the new incentives. This price will go up to $98 per point. The incentive is the $8 per point towards purchase AND my use year starting in February 2005. So, the 150 points are available to me NOW when I pay the $500 deposit. I will receive my next 150 points in February 2006. I have to pay for the 2005 dues. So the total would be $13,835 (14,700-1,200+345) receiving 150 points now and again in February. So this is what I am going with.

I paid her the $500 today. I am SO excited! Yay!
