I just noticed... the new trips available from the Adventures by Disney collection! I spent a bit of time looking at the itineraries for London/Paris and Italy. Talk about awesome! I've been to Paris, but the dinner at the Eiffel tower sounds so great! I've always wanted to go to London to see the sights. I read historical fiction almost exclusively and England is a favorite setting. If I were to go, I'd most wish to see the Tower of London and Madame Tussaud's. (We went to the US version at the Venetian in Las Vegas a couple of years back. I got to pose with Princess Diana whom I loved )It would be great to see the original London museum which I know is much bigger. The Italian getaway would also be of interest as it features a pasta making class in Chianti. How cool! Although my boys would probably be a bit too young to appreciate the Roman antiquities, I'll have to wait a bit until they're a bit older to understand the history. Is there no end to the possibilities with DVC??!! I haven't even taken my first trip and already I've got one booked and other possiblities teeming through my head! Now all I have to do is pray for the dream vacation to Greece... Claudine

Re: I just noticed... Thanks for the heads up on those Claudine. Now you know if you do take the London / Paris tour, we'll be expecting a visit, don't you? I personally like the look of some of the Hawaii vacations. One day I'd like to head to there, although I'm not sure when. I've got a lot of other places on my list to visit first.

Re: I just noticed... This might be blasphemous to post this here , but leave Disney to Disney. If you want to see London, Paris or Rome, go to experts in those particular cities. All three are worth at least a week each, IMHO (I've been to all of them many, many times)

Re: I just noticed... My DVC rep has done many many trips outside of the Disney collection, including the safari! Not only does she bring back amazing pictures, she has created a lifetime of memories and certainly has us wanting to go to alot of these places.

My DH thought Hawaii looked like fun as well(the hike up Diamond Head especially!). So many places...so little time! Claudine |

Re: I just noticed... Those trips are fabulous looking, but I know you can do Hawaii for less than what they're asking..........but it wouldn't include half as much as with Disney!!!
