What are the chances? I've booked a studio at SSR for Dec. 4-8th. What do you think my chances are at changing it to VWL when the 7 months hit in May? This trip is a surprise anniversary trip for DH and I think VWL is a little more romantic than SSR. Lori

Re: What are the chances? The Mousefest land portion is Dec7-12. That being said, I think your chances are pretty good for getting in VWL from 12/4-8. We were in WDW from 12/7-12/12 last year and the parks weren't too crowded, so I would expect that the resorts were nowhere near capacity either.

Re: What are the chances? I'm not so sure. I know that when we booked at the Beach Club Villas at about ten months out for 11/29 - 12/7, there were two or three nights that they were almost sold out on already - and at least one of those was a night before MouseFest officially started. It's become a very popular time of the year for DVC members to visit.

Re: What are the chances? Call IMMEDIATELY at 7 mos out and be prepared to go on the waiting list. There are only 20 dedicated Studio rooms at VWL and another 40 or so that are part of a Two Bedroom lockoff. That means there's a maximum of about 60 studios, but practically speaking there are likely fewer if some have been reserved as a 2B. If you end up staying at SSR, request a room with a view of Downtown Disney. That's the second best view in the program, IMO, second only to the BoardWalk View at BWV.
