| Duck Addict\'s Guide Bio My name is Donald (though I go by Don) I live in Northern California, about 100 miles north of Sacramento, in a town called Paradise (yes it is!) with my cat Phantom. I am a retired government worker, currently age63. I help care for my 87 year old mother . I am single, never married. My logon name reflects my love of Donald Duck. My introduction to him was by Disney cartoons preceding the Disney movies. My first movies were 20,000 leagues, Lady and the Tramp, the true life adventures. My mother would not (NO) let me watch Mickey Mouse club because she did not believe a kid should be parked in front of a TV at 4 in the afternoon. However, my aunt solved the problem. Caring for me and my brother while my parents looked for a new home and hometown, I got to see my first color tv and all my cousins watched MMC. She and my uncle had bought me Donald Duck Orange Juice, DD Bread and DD soda! I was hooked! (That is why I say I am 9—that was my age then.)I have been to DL MANY times, my first being with my Grandmother at 16…and while I was stationed in San Diego it was almost a monthly event. My first WDW trip was in the 1990. I have just completed my 4th trip. Now that I am retired I am starting to travel. My first non-military trip overseas was May 2005 to Britain, Wales, Ireland and Scotland. I look forward to making your visits to the Passporter Boards and the Disney parks more magical!
