PassPorter Community Tip: A "Brit" Different Guidebook
PassPorter's Walt Disney World for British Holidaymakers is a "brit" different view of Walt Disney World for our UK friends by author/columnist Cheryl Pendry! This comprehensive, 260-page e-book covering every aspect of visiting Walt Disney World from the United Kingdom. It takes you through your entire visit, from the planning stages to working out the best way to get there and get around, with details about arriving in America, passports and immigration, duty-free allowances, driving in the States, and staying in touch while you're away!

Club Passholders get it now in the Reading Room. The e-book is also now on sale to the general public in the PassPorter Store.

WDWJAMBA's Guide Bio

My name is Claudine and I live in Glasgow, Montana with my husband, Ted, and my two boys. Ted and I are both from New York originally, but now make the West home. Glasgow is a small rural town of 3,500 people and about one hour south of the Canadian border. It may be little in population, but it’s big on heart!

We have beautiful prairies and mountains in our state and the wide open grasslands filled with wildlife are just amazing. The only thing I like better is a trip to Disney! Because we live so far from Orlando, our Disney trips typically are two weeks in length. That’s the perfect length for us to experience the parks, the restaurants (my favorite thing!), and a bit of quiet time together as a family. Most of our extended family still lives on the east coast, so we travel there during the year as well.

As a senior in high school, I made my very first trip to Walt Disney World and really hoped that I’d get to visit again. I’ll never forget watching the fireworks over the castle and riding SpaceMountain seven times! There were only two parks back then and River Country was a novelty, but there was no mistaking the magic. As I rode the ferry boat back to the Ticket and TransportationCenter, I knew I’d be back. I did have a bit of a wait, but it was sure worth it!

We made our first trip together as a family back in 2005 after I finished my master’s degree in education (I teach middle school English). It was the trip of a lifetime and really rekindled my love for Disney. A week into our trip and we were on our way to becoming Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members at Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa! Since becoming members, we have several trips in the works and are perpetually dreaming of yet another!

When I’m not Disney planning, I enjoy gardening, reading, collecting recipes and cookbooks.

My first love of all things Disney is the dining! I am so excited to share my experiences with you as a co-guide in the Feasting forum! And I’ve always loved amusement parks, so I’m particularly thrilled to be your co-guide for the WDW Touring the Parks and Disney Vacation Club forums! I look forward to making your Passporter experience a great one!
