Hi everyone!
My name is Ann and I am thrilled to be here! I will be co-guide with DebiDebiDebi, disneyknut and RobDVC in the Sunroom as well as co-guide with Brant, CRCrazy and Shell of the South in Going Behind the Scenes: Trivia, News and Rumors forums.
I live in northern Indiana, very close to the University of Notre Dame!
Our home is in the "middle" of a very small stop in the road! Our small community has a pizza place, a fire station and the school! We live in between the creek and a large farm that occasionally has a cow or two that escapes!
My husband Allen and I raised our three sons here in this small yet friendly community. Our sons are now grown and on their own, living all over the country! We have two Yorkshire terriers who keep us hopping!
For the past 17 years I have worked at the elementary school, with the last 8 years being the librarian and computer lab teacher. The library was the perfect niche for me, as besides Disney, one of my other passions is reading! At the beginning of this school year, I decided to go part-time and now I job share with the school secretary. I working part-time!
My first glimpse of life in Florida was when I was 8 years old. Even at that early age, I knew that someday I would live there! My first visit to the wonderful world of Disney was December 1971. My parents took our family to the newly opened Magic Kingdom for Christmas! I was totally hooked! My love and passion for anything Disney was awakened by that first visit and I have never looked back!
The year 2008 was life changing for our family! My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary! My youngest son became engaged and was married in Naples Florida in December. We became DVC members in September 2007, and we took our first trip “home” in April! Now it is 2009 and we hope to be moving to the sunshine state of Florida this year! You see, I just knew that many, many years ago when I first visited the sunny beaches of Florida, I would live there!

My love for Walt Disney World led me to find the most amazing vacation guide and website that I have ever known and been a part of. Not only have I found the greatest source of information on anything to do with Disney, I have found a wonderful group of people who I am so grateful to be a part of!
