Hi everyone! My name is Jodi and I am very excited to be a new Co-Guide in the Porch Forum. I am married to my husband Tim and I am a stay at home mom to our daughter Brianna. In my spare time I enjoy scrapbooking, photography, reading and spending time with my family. And of course we love all things Disney!

My love for Walt Disney World started when I was young, watching the Wonderful World of Disney on TV. I always dreamed of going to Disneyland or Walt Disney World. My first opportunity to visit Disney World came in March 1988. I was a senior in high school and involved in my school’s choir. It just so happened that my school’s band and choir was chosen to perform at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World during our spring break that year. Let me tell you, it was such an awesome experience performing at the Magic Kingdom in front of all those people visiting the parks that day. We were all so proud of ourselves at the honor and experience. I never have forgotten that moment. And I told myself, that when I finish school and get married that I want to spend my time at Disney World. Moving forward about 8 years later, I married my husband Tim in December 1996. We’ve both always wanted to see Disney World at Christmas time with all the beautiful decorations and felt that Disney World was perfect for us to honeymoon at. And it was perfect! We also knew that we’d want to visit Disney World again, but hopefully the next time would be with our children. And we have gotten that chance to go back to Disney World with our daughter Brianna. She enjoys Disney World just as much as we do!

For the future, we would love to become Disney Vacation Club members. We like to vacation every other year or so at Disney World, but would love to get away yearly to our happy place. Those times we get to spend together creating fun memories as a family is what is important to us. We treasure those memories.

I am very happy to be a PassPorter Guide for the Porch Forum and be a part of such a great community. I am so glad that I got over my lurking on the message boards while planning my family trip back in 2006 and finally became a member in January 2007. It is wonderful knowing others who share that same passion about all things Disney like I do.
