Hello! I'm Sandy, and I'm happy to be a member of the PassPorter team!! I've been proofreading the PP books for several years; it's been great to see the books grow and change and see other books (and e-books!) added over the years.

I've been a Disney fan since childhood, with good reason: My parents met at Disneyland. That, of course, gave me hope that I might someday meet my own Prince Charming at a Disney park -- and thanks to PassPorter and the magic of Disney, I did! boBmouseºoº and I have known each other since 2000, but we didn't meet in person until MouseFest 2004 -- an incredibly magical trip for both of us. Bob moved to from Connecticut to Minnesota in June 2005; we got engaged at Victoria & Albert's in October 2005; and we got married on June 24, 2006.

Bob and I live in a tiny apartment with super-thin walls, so we get to know our neighbors in new and unusual ways. We have a talkative and snuggly cat named Nikolai (though we usually just call him Kitty or Stinky). He has about a dozen different kinds of meows, and he can annoy our socks off, but we love him. I'm a full-time freelance proofreader, and I love it!

I've taken a dozen trips to Disneyland, the most recent in June 2006 for our honeymoon. My first trip to Walt Disney World came in 1998, and I've gone at least once a year since then. Unfortunately, I will miss this year (unless I win a trip or win the lottery), but that's okay. It'll still be there next year! Bob and I are DVC members (SSR) and love everything Disney. We went on a 7-night Eastern cruise in December 2007 (my second cruise, Bob's first) and had an amazing time. Can't wait for the next one ... although who knows when that will be!! Part of the fun is the anticipation, right?
