Smile GoofyMom's Guide Bio

Hi, I’m Donna, better known here as GoofyMom! I have been married to a wonderful man for 23 years, and I have two adult children who haven’t given me any grey hairs yet! Yes, they are that good! DH, Dan, works for the Government of Canada in the field of environmental cleanup. He travels frequently to many parts of Canada, although mostly the Very Far North. DS, Drew, is 20. DD, Paige, is 19. Currently, I am a housewife and am completely unemployable.

I grew up on a farm in the middle of the Canadian prairies, went to school in a small town (where I was an honours student), moved to the City to attend University and got kicked out after my first year because of low grades. Oops - so much for honours. Plan B was to attend Secretarial College for a secretarial diploma and to get my Mrs. degree (pronounced missus ). Which I did. Shortly after receiving my diploma, I married my high school sweetheart, Dan. Eventually, we moved to the Bigger City (Winnipeg) due to Dan’s job situation.

I found the PassPorter site when I was researching on the internet for our first trip to WDW. After 3 years of planning we finally made it to WDW in Dec. ’04. And I got bit by the WDW bug badly – I managed 4 trips within one year. You really gotta watch those AP's -- buy them cautiously! I've been lucky enough to meet many PassPorter members on each of my trips to Orlando, and I have made a lot of dear friends on these boards. I consider it a real privilege to serve the PassPorter family as a co-guide for the Checking Itineraries, Universal Studios Florida and the WDW Making More Magic Forums.

Donna
