| Shell of the South's Guide Bio Hi to all my Passporter friends! My name is Michelle, and you will see me on the Boards as Shell of the South. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 22 years, and we have two teenagers and one in college who keep us busy with their various sports and activities. I work full time when I’m not busy being a Mom! I love to travel and got the opportunity as a child to experience Europe several times. As a child my parents took us to Walt Disney World twice, of course back then it was only the Magic Kingdom park. It was truly a magical place to be! After I got married and started my own family, we started making vacation memories of our own. We love visiting beach destinations, have traveled to Chicago twice, and even drove on a two-week adventure to discover the West! But I still had a longing in my heart to take my children to that magical place I remembered as Walt Disney World. So finally in September 2000 we took our first trip to the World! We stayed in the All-Stars Music resort and the Disney bug bit me hard! We went back in November 2001 with some DVC members and stayed at Old Key West. We returned to WDW in October 2004 (Pop Century) and 2005 (Port Orleans Riverside). We took our first Christmas trip in December 2006 and stayed at the AKL. For our 20th Anniversary we celebrated at the WL and CBR. Our last trip to the World was in 2007 for free dining. We're currently planning to return to the AKL in July 2009. I love reading and researching Disney and theme park rumors and trivia, so I am so excited to be a co-guide in the "Going Behind the Scenes: Trivia and Rumors" forum. My family is also crazy about the Universal Studios resort in Orlando and have visited their resorts and theme parks many times, staying at the Royal Pacific Resort and the Hard Rock Hotel. But we always manage to stop by Walt Disney World for their superb restaurants and shopping, even if we can’t visit the Disney theme parks. I am very proud to be a co-guide in the Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure forum here on the Passporter boards. Hats off to Jennifer and Dave for creating a place where Universal's parks and resorts can be discussed! We recently expanded our quest for thrill rides with a visit to Cedar Point Park in Sandusky, Ohio in 2008. When I’m not dreaming about Disney, I enjoy scrapbooking, movies, gardening, reading, walking, swimming, photography, and just spending time with my family. As you can see, some of my favorite pastimes are discussed in the Library: Books, TV, Movies, and Music, so I am thrilled to be a guide in this forum!
