| iamgrumpy's Guide Bio Well Hello there my name is Amy and I am glad to have you here on Passporter’s Message Board. We are a friendly group here, and I was lucky to have found it myself in 2004. I was planning another trip to Walt Disney World and happened to walk into a local Bookstore and saw this really different looking book on Disney World. It was Blue and had something called PassPockets and even had an elastic band like an organizer. For the Planning Junkie like me it was PERFECT! I bought it and read it from cover to cover in 1 day. I wrote down everything I had planned, a few things I learned about in the book that I added and left on my trip. I came back and well I haven’t left the message board since! I became a Guide so pay it forward since they had helped me so much! My first trip to Walt Disney World was in 1987 I was 5 years old and I was surprised with a trip for my birthday. We drove down from our home in CT and I was told it was a trip to Myrtle Beach. We got to the turn off and when my parents asked if I rather go to Disney instead well…Of Course I said Disney!!! Ever since I have returned well over 100 times, its easy to visit now that I live in the Central Florida area. I say a perfect day is when I can walk into a theme park, put my Annual Pass into the turnstile and find magic for the day and be able to do that 365 times a year if I want!! I did the Disney College Program and enjoyed working and living near the mouse but I don’t think I could work for Mickey with out requesting to be a Ghost Host at The Haunted Mansion. I love the Villains, and I love Grumpy. I guess it off sets my happy personality. I have met lots of wonderful people from Passporter by going to Passporter Meets and I am proud to be a Guide in the Disney Cruise Line Forums, and The Vacationing Your Way: Special Needs Forum! I have a wonderful mother who loves Disney just as I do and we spent my Birthday in 2008 at WDW and well this photo of me explains it all! This is Me your friendly Guide here on Passporter! ![]() Airfare to Orlando- An Arm and half a leg Hotel on property- Other arm and half a leg Waking up in WDW on your Birthday and get presents? --Priceless!!!!! Glad to be here! Last edited by iamgrumpy; 10-28-2009 at 06:19 PM.. |
