Starbucks Coming to Disney Parks

Beginning this June, the first of six planned Starbucks locations is scheduled to open at Disney California Adventure park in the re-themed Buena Vista Street area. More locations are planned for Disneyland park and Walt Disney World Resort (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom). The Starbucks will be themed to fit their locations and will serve Starbucks items as well as some Disney favorites.

Finally some real coffee! I never understood why Disney would stay with Nescafe which has always been such a terrible instant tasting coffee.

Woo hoo!! This is the best news I've heard all day! And this is such a natural partnership... Starbucks and Disney are both known for their outstanding customer service and quality. Like millions of others, I'm a Starbucks addict, so not having it while at Disney has always been the one and only thing that I complain about while on property. My family is sick of hearing me wonder aloud why on Earth Disney hasn't gotten Starbucks on-site. All will now be right with the world!

I think it will be okay but the signs need to be low key. Not sure I like the idea of other firms coming in advertising their goods, it starts taking away some of that Disney magic. Kodak at Hollywood was a little bit of an eye-sore.

Hmm. Distinctly un-thrilled. I hate Starbucks coffee, personally. It is too bitter and strong for me. And I hate more the idea that something so prevalent in the 'real' world is now going to encroach on the Disney magic and fantasy. (And I don't mean the cruise ships!!)

I love their chai tea lattes. If I could get one of those every morning at Disney, I'd be in magical heaven!
